17th REIGATE SCOUTS
Join us for tea, coffee and cakes on Sun 18th Mar after the 9.00am Mass at Holy Family. We celebrated our 103rd birthday this week as we continue to grow. We can only through our adult volunteers and continued support by the parish. There are always things that we need help with, either small or large. Take a look at our ‘help’ board at the back of St Joseph’s Church to see how you could help us.
THE EASTER TRIDUUM
The Easter Triduum (three days) holds together as one liturgy and believers throughout the world will gather as ‘Church’ to keep the Christian Passover. Thank you for the words of support encouraging we keep these days in the parish in a way that as many as possible can come together around one altar. The times of the Liturgy will be: Holy Thursday 8pm – Good Friday 3pm – Easter Vigil Saturday 8.30pm at St Joseph’s Church.
MINISTRIES FOR THE TRIDUUM
Musicians from our various Sunday Masses are meeting together to help plan the liturgy. Please could all Welcomers, Readers and Eucharistic Ministers let their co-ordinators, or the parish office, know if they could be available to minister during the triduum.
HOLY THURSDAY – WASHING OF FEET
The Lord washed his disciples feet as a sign of serving those who were to serve others. It would be good to wash the feet of those who offer some service in the parish. If you would like to nominate someone, ask them first and then pass their name to the parish office.

SURREY’S FIRST COMMUNITY CAFE
A not-for-profit community cafe has just opened in the new Merstham Hub called the Merstham Mix. The objectives are to strengthen the local community bonds, promote healthy eating, provide affordable food to all and free hot meals to all our local food-bank users. We will also be reducing food waste by supplementing our kitchen with food surpluses from supermarkets and farms. Merstham Facilities Community Trust and Loveworks are on the organising end and although we have a wonderful chef, we need volunteers for the kitchen and FOH to keep our costs low. If you would like the opportunity (training given!) please contact Anna on 07929498430 or [email protected] gmail.com for more information. Our website is www.mersthamcc.org.uk to read all about it!
SATURDAY AFTERNOON GET TOGETHERS We are a friendly group of adults that meet every Saturday in the PNL Café area between 3-5 pm. We play games, chat and enjoy company over a complimentary hot drink. Parishioners, people from our local community and visitors are always welcome to come along anytime during the session. Please don't hesitate to contact the parish office if you would like to meet with me prior to coming along.
Come and join us in the Café in the PNL Centre at St Joseph’s on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and have a FREE tea or filter coffee when you purchase any hot food. The café is open term times Monday to Friday 10.30am - 1.30pm.
ARE YOU FREE OR JUST RETIRED and looking for something to do? Why not volunteer in the Retreat Café at St Joseph’s and make new friends. If you would like to know more please contact the parish office on 01737 761017.

BEQUESTS THANK YOU
We are very grateful that a number of parishioners from our three churches have assisted our parish by gifting a donation to the parish in their wills. A sheet has been prepared by the diocese outlining the wording that should be used for this. It also includes information on Foundation Masses and bequests to our diocese. If you would like more information please take one of the blue sheets at the backs of all our churches.
