ST JOSEPH’S CHURCH - REDECORATION Amongst the many items identified by last year’s quinquennial report on our sites was the need to redecorate St Joseph’s Church. The finance committee have worked hard preparing the brief and going out to tender - access to the high areas being the particular challenge. All is in place now and we hope to complete the project over the summer with minimal disruption, the work should take about three weeks. The Church interior has not been touched for over thirty years and the off-white colour we have now in many places is essentially dust and dirt built up over the years. You may have noticed some sample paint squares on the walls for the white colour which is intended to restore the walls and ceiling to the original design as best we can - have a look and if you would like to comment or would like further information please contact the parish office on 01737 761017
